After decades’ long crisis, Pakistan textile industry is bouncing back due to a number of reasons ranging from lockdown in India to competitive prices of Pakistani textile products in international markets. Energy crisis remained the chief contributor in sluggishness of textile sector over the past decade. The textile sector was besieged with crises so much so that no government could manage the textile affairs on its own despite the fact our economy was in dire needs of its revival. The incumbent government has worked wonder that things are once again set in right direction. It is all due to government sagacious tackling of covid 19 through measures adopted during the first wave. The government introduced smart lockdown and it worked. Indian government slapped a sudden and swift lockdown in its country and lost its textile orders to Pakistan.
